Getting the colors right on your lead capture or squeeze page design could be the difference between a successful campaign or a total dud!

Match The Offer

If you’re building a squeeze page that will redirect visitors to a specific website, its a wise idea to make sure your lead capture or squeeze page color scheme matches that of the site you are redirecting your visitors to.  If your new prospects submit their information to your capture page and then land on a radically different place afterwards they will be confused.  So again, try and keep the colors the same as your main website or main offer.

Don’t Use Too Many Colors

Using too many colors is a common mistake made by people who are trying to design their own squeeze pages or lead capture pages.  The use of too many colors is very distracting for your visitors, and makes it confusing as to what is important and what is not.  To keep your color scheme easy on the eyes don’t overdo it, and only use colors as accents on very important pieces of content, or for important text that must stand out.
